How Do Some Dental Offices Manage to Get 100s of Reviews on Google?

How Do Some Dental Offices Manage to Get 100s of Reviews on Google?

If you notice 200 - 300 Google reviews for a dental office (or any business).
They most likely have been doing the following:
1. Send (text & email) the review link to the patient after their appointment.
2. Doing the above consistently for at least 2 years.

Here is the math to get there:
Let’s say your office sees about 10 patients daily.
And averages 40 appointments weekly.
If you text all those patients your Google review link.
You would at least see 1 or 2 reviews (5-star) on Google.
Some weeks, you may get 3 or more.
If we take the least range and average 1.5 reviews weekly,
52 weeks * 1.5 = 78 reviews/year on Google.

If any of the staff members proactively have good conversations with the patients during their visits and if they mention the below to the patients, you can easily add another 30 reviews/year.

Hey, we will text you with our review link later today. Could you help write a review for us on Google by clicking on the link in the text? Our doctor and staff would truly appreciate that.
Total is 78 + 30 = 108 reviews/year.
If you do the above for five years, 108 * 5 = 540 online reviews.
I have seen some offices with 2000+ Google reviews.
I don't think they are fake reviews.
It's most likely a large office with about 30 - 40 appointments daily that has been actively getting reviews for a long time (at least 5 years).
A review program to deliver the review link to your patients is optional.

Here is how the review programs help:
1. Automatically send that review link text message to the patients after their appointment with the option to skip some patients if you don't want to send them.
2. Track the patients who were already sent the review link and not send them again until a certain period (6 months, etc).
3. If you don't like sending review links automatically, you can pick and choose the patients and send review requests to those patients only with the click of a button.
The review programs ease the work on your staff by taking care of all the manual work, so every patient is sent the review link without much effort.
I understand this is too much information. Feel free to reply/comment if you have any questions. I would be more than happy to answer :)
