Marketing Your Practice in Today's Economy

Every time the Economy drops into "danger territory" we see a flood of advertising for "The No-Lose Marketing Plan for YOUR Practice."  We have been here before.  Most of the time, they are expensive and long-term plans that are guaranteed to make YOUR practice into a production and collection MACHINE.  Of course, you may have to attend a series of lectures or purchase a book.  Recently, I saw one for an online course that was a "guaranteed winner."  But what was remarkable is that they were "generic."  What I mean by that is the lack of research they have about YOUR practice area.  They may even ignore the type of practice you have.  (All healthcare practices are the same, right?).  They don't care whether you practice in Columbus, OH, or Sacramento, CA  (All locations are the same, right?)
