Delivering a message directly to prospective patients is a tried-and-true way to gain their favor. Being featured in the local newspaper, or speaking to a local audience is a great way to get noticed.

Appearing as an expert is a great way to separate you from other dentists. That's what Dr. Phelps of Matthews, North Carolina at Carolina's Dental Center has done to help build his practice to phenomenal levels. Dr. Phelps tells his story of increasing production millions of dollars per year in this interview on my blog:

But did you know that delivering your message locally can be supplemented by delivering your message to your fellow dentists (and other dental professionals)?

Search Engine Optimization is a factor that you can consider when applying yourself to writing articles on places like Dental Town, Remin Media, and Dental Products Report.

Google's has said that publishing on other's platform, and then citing yourself and other authoritative websites as an informational resource, is a powerful SEO strategy. Here is Google's former SEO spokesperson, Matt Cutts on how linking from articles such as the one you're reading right now, can improve your search engine presence:

Simply put, even if your local patients aren't reading Dental Town, Google is.

That's because Google is looking for signs on how to differentiate dentists. And having powerful content which links back to your dental website is one of the major factors which Google's algorithm favors.

Finding guest blogging opportunities is very helpful in this pursuit of higher rankings for dental keywords.

This is just one guest blog post on my style of SEO called The Invisalinks Method. Be sure to follow me on the dental town forums to learn more!
