An open letter To Our Clients RE Covid 19

TRANSCRIPT:

As you are aware, many dental practices across the country and the world are now closed entirely or open to only emergency cases.

This is going to be a very difficult time for all dentists, and we’ve received many emails and calls from clients in truly heartbreaking situations.  We all hope this will pass as quickly as possible.

I am thinking of all of you during this time quite a bit, including the members of my family: My brother and his wife, who are both dentists in Maryland, just had their first baby a few days ago in the midst of all this.

I’ve always told my staff that the success of our business was tied to our customer’s success.  I have always attempted to align our best interests with those of our clients.  This has meant not having contracts, working ethically and honestly with each practice who has trusted us with their time and money, and ultimately treating each and every client as if they were a member of my family.

It’s all hands on deck at GDW, and we have been working around the clock to help clients make changes to their websites and communicate with their patients.  Our engineers/developers are rushing new features into production to help with this while our marketing services team has switched directions to help you inform patients about emergency services.  We know this will be an exceedingly trying time for everyone, and I want you to know we are here to help you – in any way we can.

If you still need information about COVID-19 to post on your website, we’ve created a new emergency alert feature and a templated page about it for you to use and customize.  This is available for free to all clients immediately.  Email support@greatdentalwebsites.com, or call your marketing coach for assistance with this.

You have also recently received emails from us about content and #CampGDW.  I know a lot is lost over emails, and you are receiving nonstop corona virus communication from every entity you are in contact with, but I wanted to clear up a few concerns and confusion brought to my attention.

We know a lot of our clients have urgent needs to get content out to your patients as quickly as possible.  We are working around the clock to help you, and we have been able to get these tasks done in less than 24 hours.  You may have received an email with pricing for this –  I want to be clear that this is to provide these services strictly at cost, just so we are able to pay the copywriters.  Please keep in mind that this is aside from the free template that we’ve developed and only if you have further additional needs.

Another initiative we’ve started this week is #CampGDW.  We know a lot of our clients have little to no revenue right now, but still have a strong desire to do something pro-active to help their practices.

We’ve thrown all of our resources at this to essentially create an online dental marketing university overnight to help clients use this time as productively as possible. Eventually this crisis will pass. Dental practices will open once again. Patients will return.

This service has been rolled out at no cost for all of our clients.  We wanted to provide a free DIY course that you could work on while your practice is closed.  Whether you’re working with us or not – now is the time to spend proactive working on your businesses’ marketing to allow you to come roaring back to life when you open for business again.  We received feedback from clients who were not using a marketing coach that they wanted to participate in this program too. Again, We are offering this program to all GDW clients at no charge.

I’ve been so impressed with my staff who have risen to the occasion, working long hours from dawn til dusk. We have a team that truly cares about each and every one of you, and I couldn’t be more proud of their efforts on your behalf.

If any of you are struggling out there, and haven’t shared it with us, and we can help you – please let us know. For me personally, our clients have always felt like more of a community than a business – many of you have become personal friends of mine.

I look forward to speaking with you on the occasions you reach out, or when I visit you during a vacation – I hope we get the opportunity to do so again.

I want you all to know we are here for you.

When things return to normal – and they will – there will be a pent up demand from dental patients who haven’t been able to get to their appointments.  I want you all to be able to recover your business as quickly as possible and we will be here to support you in that goal:
now and in the future.

We are all in the same boat, and these next few weeks will be an epic struggle, but our hand is always out for clients, and my heart is always open.  Please reach out to us if we can help you in any way, and we will try our best.

Thank you again for your business and support.

Sincerely,

Jeff Gladnick
