Some people talk because it makes them feel important when others ask for their opinion.

They love being seen as the “go-to-expert.”  

In fact, the more that people ask their advice, the more important they feel.

If you want to generate more positive word of mouth for you and your practice, identify ways that you can recognize these patients.  Look for ways you can help them elevate their status.  

Acknowledging them, keeping them in the loop, and asking for their input are great places to start.
