Associate Dentist – Full-Time (Saturday Required)

Location: Northwest Family Dental – Lake Worth, TX
Schedule: 5 Days/Week (Saturday is Mandatory)

Pay: $1,000 Daily Guaranteed 

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Associate Dentist to join our patient-focused practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general dentistry and a commitment to providing exceptional care. As an Associate Dentist, you will work closely with our dental team to diagnose and treat dental conditions, promote oral health, and educate patients on preventive care.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive dental examinations, including x-rays and oral cancer screenings.

• Diagnose and treat dental conditions such as cavities, gum disease, and tooth decay.

• Administer local anesthesia and perform a wide range of dental procedures:

  • Composite fillings

  • Crowns and bridges

  • Simple and surgical extractions

  • Root canals (endodontic therapy)

  • Dentures (complete and partial)

  • Implant restorations (placement experience preferred)

• Create customized treatment plans tailored to patients’ oral health needs.

• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies.

• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using electronic dental software (Dentrix/Curve).

• Adhere to strict infection control protocols and maintain a sterile working environment.

• Collaborate with dental assistants, hygienists, and administrative staff to ensure efficient and effective patient care.

• Stay current with advancements in dentistry and actively participate in continuing education.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school.

• Valid Texas dental license in good standing.

• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience preferred (new graduates considered with mentorship support).

• Proficiency in general dentistry, including endodontics.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with patients.

• Attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and commitment to high-quality care.

• Ability to work well in a collaborative team environment.

• Must be available to work Saturdays.
