In this final webinar, emphasis will be placed on managing other important treatment challenges, including internal and external resorption. A new concept, "Retro-Dontics," will be introduced, providing insight into treating unfound and inaccessible root canal anatomy. Single-visit endodontics will be revisited and redefined. By rethinking expectations, this webinar series aims to change how endodontics is perceived, predicted and performed.

Upon completion of this course, you should be able to:

  • Manage internal and external resorption effectively using laser technology
  •
  • Explain the concept of "Retro-Dontics" and its application in endodontic treatment
  •
  • Address challenges with inaccessible and unidentified canal anatomy
  •
  • Assess the pros and cons of single-visit endodontic procedures
  •
  • Achieve deep disinfection while minimizing complications associated with single-visit endodontics
  •
  • Predict endodontic treatment outcomes with greater confidence
Dr. Justin Kolnick received his dental degree, cum laude, from the University of the Witwatersrand in South Africa, where he was the first dental school graduate to be awarded the University Scholarship for overseas postgraduate study. He received his postdoctoral endodontic training from Columbia University. Kolnick is committed to endodontic education, first as an associate clinical professor in endodontics at Columbia University and later as an attending at Westchester Medical Center, and an associate clinical professor in endodontics at New York Medical College. Although he no longer holds these positions, he continues to lecture on the subject nationally and internationally. He has also published several articles on endodontics. For the past 16 years, his experience and expertise in lasers have made a significant contribution to the development of a comprehensive, laser-assisted treatment concept in endodontics. Kolnick is in full-time private practice limited to endodontics in New York.
