“I see dentists who learned what they learned and pretty much everything goes downhill after that. ”
~Dr. Bruce B. Baird
It doesn’t matter if you’re in your 20s, 30s, 60s, or 70s…it can happen at any time in your career.
All of a sudden you start feeling old. That thought process starts creeping in that you’ve reached the pinnacle of your career. This is it.
It doesn’t just happen to those of us who are retirement age. I know 40-year-olds who are “old”. They’re not excited about their businesses. They’re not doing the things that bring them joy. They’re not engaging in behaviors that give them longevity.
This made me start thinking about the dentists I know who stay on top: they keep pushing forward, learning new techniques, they’re excited about dentistry. It doesn’t matter what age they are, they stay engaged in their careers and lives – they keep learning, they work out, they eat right, they go on vacations.
I believe every independent dentist deserves a life that brings them financial success and personal fulfillment. Listen in as I share my experience with staying focused on what matters in life, including:
- How to stay engaged in your career
- Strategies for keeping the “old man” out
- The importance of doing things you want to do
