CareCredit Launches Updated Online Advertising Toolkit for Providers
CareCredit has announced the availability of its new online Advertising Toolkit. It features professionally designed, customizable assets that can be added to a practice website to promote awareness of financing options with CareCredit.

CareCredit research validates the importance of having financing available to patients who are considering health care procedures, products and services. According to a 2014 company-conducted study, cost and financing are bigger concerns with patients and clients (73 percent) than is the actual procedure (70 percent). Of those surveyed, 50 percent went online for information.

With this knowledge, providers are increasingly enhancing their practice websites and featuring expanded options and information—such as financing—for their patients and clients.

Available at carecredit.com/advertisingtoolkit, the toolkit features an enhanced user experience, new digital banners, buttons and logos, and a payment calculator.

3M Licenses Dental Ceramics Coloring Technology to Dental Direkt

The technology enables the coloring of unshaded ceramics by color-matching dental restorations to the natural color of patients' teeth. 3M has licensed its patents to much of the dental industry, including Dentsply Prosthetics U.S. and Dentsply International, Zirkonzahn GmbH, Wieland Dental + Technik GmbH & Co. KG, Ivoclar Vivadent AG, Metoxit AG, and Whitepeaks Dental Solutions.

DentalEZ To Discontinue J Family of Patient Chairs by 2017
DentalEZ recently announced that by 2017 the J Family line of patient chairs will no longer be available for sale. The company began phasing out the chairs this July.

The J-Chair and the J/V-Generation chair will be available for purchase until the last remaining chair finds its home. Through the end of 2016, DentalEZ will offer incentives for dental professionals to purchase the chairs.

The J-Chair is equipped with all of the accommodating features and benefits that dental professionals have grown to know and trust for almost six decades. The back, seat and base positions all adjust independently, and the thinnest narrow back available allows superior access.

The J/V-Generation Chair combines all the features and benefits of the J-Chair, and also has the flexibility of a split-back, but with a more modern look, and includes advanced features such as an anatomically correct hip pivot point, and left/right flexibility.

The company will transition its focus to further educating dental professionals on the many features and benefits of its NuSimplicity patient chair, an evolved version of the J-Chair.
