Lets say you take Delta and your pt needs a full mouth reconstruction due to wear. You know how to do it, you feel comfortable doing it. The pt is willing to pay your FFS price, but she has Delta insurance and you are in network with that insurance. Is there anyway to work around the horrible contracted rates of delta? as a patient. The insco assigned benefits to me and requested them back from the doctor, however it was not a PPO agreement, so doc didn't have to pay, I did (which actually makes a lot more sense to me).I am not in network with the secondary insurance. That would be the extent of coverage I would provide for disability to an employee.Is the concensus that short term disability is being overinsured? It just seems wasteful to me to make this monthly payment when at best you may collect a portion of regular pay for a short period of time.

what is your opinion on critical illness insurance with full return of premiums after 15 years. My insurance broker says that I can save a ton on taxes with this option through the corporation.
