Insurance companies are beginning to pay claims using a Virtual (POS card payment) payment. They do not send a check, but a POS Card Remittance Payment. The instructions state to Process this payment as you would any credit card payment you receive, using the virtual card information

Our Sofdentent Reconciliation Report lumps together our EFT Insurance payments (the ones that go directly from ins to your bank) with paper checks that go through our front desk. This makes it very difficult to reconcile the day's collection with the bank statement, as the bank statement lists

a letter expert this will take time but in the end you will then get what you want you can always just type it up, from scratch you have to be creative the one thing about softdent is that if the patient does not have insurance the treatment plan comes out with the insurance information

The major insurance company(Delta) in Rhode Island has decided that in order for you to receive the E-Office reimbursement that you must send your claims in through NEA and only NEA. We called Softdent to ask how to do this. After being on hold due to unusual call volume, we were told

tried SoftDent help line, but the reports they have me run only show gross production. The office manager says the report I want isn't possible because the adjusted production numbers won't be available until after the insurance EOB's are processed...which won't be until after payroll. progress notes to 1976? Probably not, so no need to scan those in. Most offices we work with will scan in the most recent, say, 1-2 pages of progress notes, archive the rest and pull out those charts as you need them. Obviously, your mileage may vary. Hope this helps. Any suggestions for id/insurance

the thread too...Very...SoftDent is very outdated and finicky to work with especially when it comes to your insurance claims, posting of payments, working outstanding claims, running reports,as well as uploading documentation. There are many other server based softwares that do a great job with all

PMS if they don't go for it. If it works, and of course it will, you'll have your answer. I've been through all this BS with their support before. They know their software is broken, but they'll never admit it because they sold a LOT of copies and it's no easy fix for them. I hate, hate, hate being in that position, lol. At least it's not American National Insurance software... it's so far behind the times... oy.
