bill for reline or rebase. If doing that doesn't cover your costs maybe charge one of those 999 codes. If the pt doesn't have ins I usually charge a global fee for denture stabilization no matter how many minis I place.Thanks for the response. I typically charge a global fee, also, and that seems to be the easiest way to do it, but when the patient has insurance, they of course, need a code. Thanks so much, Mike

I'm interested in placing mini implants for denture retention. Can you answer a few questions? YES What size do you generally place 2.0, 2.5, 3? I USE A LOT OF 2.5 FOR DENTURES, 2.0 WHEN I HAVE TOO DUE TO NARROWNESS, AND 3.0 IF A GRINDER, THE BONE IS WIDE ENOUGH, OR IF INSURANCE PAYS POORLY

for not offering this service because it is so easy. I am in a blue collar lower to middle class area in Long Island New York and would love to add stability to the lower dentures I fabricate, but do not believe the patients will pay for it. Does insurance cover mini implants ? I am on a lot of PPO

was supposed to have everything removed at that time with treatment plans in excess of 100k offered to her. We have been maximizing her insurance the entire time to help her with the cost. We start by using them to stabilize a flipper and then move to fixed over time. Hope this helps! Thanks

back in exchange with denture. And kick the patient out officially. Lots of times, malpractice insurance, if it ever gets involved, wants to settle it becaseu they don't want to take it to a court as the other side demand more and more as you refuse to give. Then you'll give it any way
