their prophys because of caries and they want me to do the fillings before sending them to hygiene. I can see their point, but am reluctant to do a bunch of fillings when the gums are inflammed. I've looked a bit a rapid caries removal/glass ionomer temp fillings as a solution, but have had difficulty getting that to jive with what insurance will pay. Anyone have a good solution to this? there is leakage. It's usually pretty easy to tell if it's worth removing the sealant. So far, I haven't opened one up that didn't have decay underneath. what do you think would happen if you were audited by an insurance company or Medicaid?
