I am a new office and trying to navigate the insurance world. I received a fee scale for a company that I am in network with, but their fee for in-office whitening is much lower than my fee. Am I able to charge my fee since the insurance company does not cover the services? I've worked in offices

of bleach. we charge $45 for a set of 5 bleaching strips? Is this about on par with the average or am I over or under? Thank you. In my office, its not a money maker but we do $100.00 for one arch......includes custom tray and bleach material. Both arches $175.00. Made in house. Since it is a cosmetic procedure not covered by insurance, we try to cover our costs only. Might lead to other tx. Pat

the microabrasion visits, whether it takes 1 time or 5 times. I just tell the patient we'll keep doing it until they're happy. But usually by visit #4 you know if it's gonna work or not. Not a huge money-maker, but a nice service for the patient. And no, I wouldn't expect insurance to cover any portion
