Get Your Dentistry to the Front Page of Online Search Results: 5 Ways to Boost Your Google Ranking

You’re not the only dentist in town. To get potential clients to come to your business rather than some other dentistry, you have to do everything you can to stand out. One way to stand out is to get your website to show up above your competitors in online search results. Here are 5 ways you can boost your Google ranking and come out on top in search results.


1. High-Quality Content

The PageRank algorithm, named after Google co-founder Larry Page, is impossible to understand entirely. There’s just too much that goes into it. But this is primarily the method used by Google to sort out which websites rise to the top of search results and which are relegated to higher-numbered pages.

But we do know this: the factor that has the biggest factor on how important Google determines your site is the number and quality of backlinks your pages get from other websites. The best way to get other sites to refer to yours is by offering original, high-quality content that cannot be found elsewhere. Remember, the third thing you should consider most about boosting your page’s Google ranking are backlinks, backlinks, and backlinks.


2. Donate to Charity

Again: backlinks, backlinks, backlinks. Who said donating to charity had to be entirely selfless? Research different charity websites and find ones that list contributors and link to their website. This is an easy way to get quality backlinks, and you can help out some people in need along the way.

3. Use Original Photos

It’s easy to snag something off Google images whenever you need an image for your website, but instead you should ask customers to send in photos your product in use or maybe hire a professional photographer to come in and take some quality shots.

Post these original, ideally interesting photos on your website and wait. Then use a reverse image search (such as TinEye) to find out which websites are using your images without permission. Contact the image borrower and demand that if they want to continue to borrowing, they must credit you with a backlink.


4. Google Analytics

It can be hard to determine which keywords you should be using in your web content. Go for something too

obvious and it can get lost in the noise of all the other websites using that keyword, go for something too niche and hardly anyone will search for it. It’s a fine balance.

That’s why should access Google Analytics. It’s free and easy to use, and it will reveal exactly what visitors search for when they land on your website. This is a valuable insight that will help to determine which keywords to focus on, and which keywords you can ignore.


5. Offer Specials on Your Service or Products

There are a lot of dental websites out there that focus on finding good deals for its visitors. Take advantage of this by regularly discounting as appropriate your products/services and contact these kinds of websites to let them know. Whatever you lose by the cutting your costs you will more than make up for in establishing quality backlinks. An example would be to sell electric toothbrushes at a good discount.
