This presentation will discuss the advantages and the challenges of utilizing intraoral digital impressions in your dental practice. Dr. Poss will layout a workflow for crown and bridge, implants, and dental sleep appliances. The attendee’s will walk away with a deeper understanding of the technology that makes it possible, and the many benefits of the digital scanning process can bring to your practice, your lab and your patients. There will be an opportunity to view this technology in the presentation.
Description of Speaker:
Dr. Poss graduated from the University Of Tennessee College Of Dentistry in 1983.
Dr. Poss has directed numerous live patient continuums at various teaching institutes on aesthetic anterior and posterior restorations. He is also on the editorial team of the Reality Publishing evaluating dental products.
Dr. Poss lectures internationally on esthetic dentistry, sleep apnea and TMD. Dr. Poss is a Diplomat with the ACSDD in dental sleep medicine and a Fellow with the American Academy of Craniofacial Pain. He is an active consultant to several dental manufacturers in the area of new product development and refinement. He has had numerous articles published in most of the leading dental journals. He maintains a restorative and TMD practice in Brentwood, Tennessee.
Upon completion of this course, participants should be able to achieve the following:

- Discuss surgical applications for digital impressions
