WESTPORT, Conn.—Strauss Diamond has introduced a new product, the Strauss Magic Strip, that offers clinicians a precise and ergonomic tool for interproximal contouring and finishing.

The secret of the Magic Strip is a high-quality handle that enables users to control the strip from outside of the patient’s mouth, all but eliminating the risk of finger injuries and making contact work as easy as holding a pen.

The Magic Strip’s adjustable head allows clinicians to select a desired level of curvature with the twist of a knob. By increasing the level of control enjoyed throughout contouring and finishing procedures, the Magic Strip substantially reduces the likelihood of patient injury while simultaneously easing the workload of the clinician.

The Magic Strip in available in three styles: serrated, one-sided with Entry Gap, and double-sided. All strips are color-coded for easy identification. Each Magic Strip is manufactured for multiple uses and the durable handles are designed for repeated autoclaving. The Magic Strip is available in packs of ten. A set containing several popular strips is available as well.
