Thoughts about just throwing in a few extra implants in high risk patients, just in case one fails, you got others to fall back on? Free-hand to save money, also? Saves extra surgeries... I think it's reasonable. I also suggest doing custom abutments and then 3 bridges on each arch. It makes things...

Has anyone had luck with insurance covering implants? Just asking Yes. Easily 50%+ of our patient base has coverage for implant placement, with some of the expected qualifiers (missing tooth clause, etc.). The office I work at always files a pre-treatment estimate or verifies online the patient's eligibility for implant placement. The coverage percentage in 2004 was significantly lower.

What if the surgeon used the pre fabricated abutment code? I am sure insurance will not pay for abutments 2 times . Why are you getting insurance involved with Full Arch cases?.....It will be a blood bath of time and frustration ..... Some patients ask for PreD.
