Company unveils new Wieland Zenotec select platform of milling systems and innovative IPS e.matrix technology

Ivoclar Vivadent recently brought together dental leaders, influencers and innovators during the Chicago Mid-Winter Meeting when they hosted “Experience Innovation.” The exciting and entertaining event, held on Friday, February 21st at the Atlantic Ballroom in the Radisson Blu Aqua Hotel Chicago, celebrated the advancements in dentistry and the innovations that are shaping the future direction of the laboratory industry.  

Highlighting the event was the unveiling of the new Wieland Zenotec select platform of milling systems, designed specifically for the dental laboratory industry.  In addition, Ivoclar Vivadent also showcased the new patented IPS e.matrix holder that will allow laboratories the opportunity to process IPS e.max CAD restorations with unprecedented automation. The event concluded with an eclectic, high energy production that included music, dancing, and acrobatics.

The new state-of-the-art Wieland Zenotec select milling systems expand Ivoclar Vivadent’s all ceramic all options  portfolio of all ceramic processing solutions. Depending on the laboratory’s workflow, Ivoclar Vivadent offers customized milling choices with many options. All Wieland Zenotec select systems provide 5-axis milling, a wide range of material options, a 16-position tool changer, high precision, and advanced Wieland Zenotec CAM software. High production laboratories have the option of an automated material changer that holds up to 8 materials that are managed using RFID technology. Available this summer, the Wieland Zenotec select WET with changer will hold up to 48 IPS e.max CAD for Zenotec blocks when combined with the IPS e.matrix holder.
