Ansell Healthcare Products Inc., a global leader in health care barrier protective products, has been awarded two three-year glove contracts by Amerinet, Inc., a St. Louis based health care group purchasing organization (GPO). The multi-source surgical agreement and the dual-source examination agreement call for Ansell to provide its' full line of latex and latex-free surgical and examination gloves to Amerinet's more than 20,000 members. The contracts deliver significant savings and renew existing agreements to maintain a long-standing relationship between Amerinet and Ansell. Ansell's status as a preferred glove supplier for Amerinet members caused the GPO to select Ansell, even as it reconfigured its examination gloves portfolio from multi source to dual source.
