Baltimore, MD - September 19, 2013 - DC Dental, an award-winning dental industry supplier, announces today state of the art upgrades to its Baltimore, MD distribution facility, signifying a major step in furthering the company's expansion in the Mid-Atlantic region. The 35,000 square foot facility has installed state of the art handling equipment, with completion of full automation expected in November 2013.
The dental supply company has experienced a significant growth in recent years, at a rate of 95% over the past three years alone. With two acquisitions completed in 2012, DC Dental is committed to increasing its continued upward growth trajectory in the future. Projected to double in revenue over the next 3-5 years, DC Dental is also looking to add to their workforce in all departments, including sales, administrative, and marketing. These planned staff expansions will further support DC Dental's mission to offer customers high quality supplies and an industry-leading customer service experience, toward their goal of helping doctors to "Practice Savvy." Upon completion, the new space will be 100% cloud-based with NetSuite's Enterprise Resource Program (ERP) and eBizNET's Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to increase customer satisfaction, efficiency in sales, regulatory compliance and superior warehouse management functionality. The automation equipment was provided by Baltimore-based Alternative Handling Technologies (AHT) a leading provider of automated storage solutions to the Mid-Atlantic region.
The Baltimore, MD distribution facility now provides DC Dental with the tools necessary to provide clients with increased order accuracy, greater quality control, and an enhanced clean and secure environment for stored dental products.
