Carestream Dental Names Marc Gordon General Manager of Carestream Dental, U.S. Digital

ATLANTA – Carestream Dental, Carestream Health’s worldwide dental division, today announced the appointment of Marc Gordon to the position of general manager, Carestream Dental LLC, the U.S. segment of the business. In this role, Gordon will report to Rich Hirschland, global president of Carestream Dental. Gordon will oversee the design and execution of the company’s imaging and software growth strategies in the United States.

Gordon served as the finance director for Carestream Dental since 2009. In this position, he led projects that accelerated revenue growth and strengthened the company’s competitive position.

“We are excited to have Marc step into this new role,” Hirschland said. “He has played an integral role in the advancement of the company’s product portfolio, and his knowledge of our company and the oral health industry as a whole will enable him to offer sound leadership for Carestream Dental’s digital equipment and software businesses in the United States.”

Prior to joining Carestream Dental, Gordon was the vice president of corporate finance and investor relations for National Financial Partners, a publicly traded network of financial advisors. Gordon also worked as a corporate restructuring associate for Huron Consulting Group and financial services senior associate for KPMG LLP.

Gordon is based in Atlanta and holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Emory University’s Goizueta Business School.
