Dr. Yoon brings substantial expertise as a practicing dentist as well as developer of a very high quality dental imaging software system, XDR Digital Radiography.
Steve Baird, CEO of S-Ray said “Dr. Yoon’s experience in development of a easy to use, very high quality software system for imaging teeth is very relevant to our product. Our ultrasound system will acquire virtually all data about a tooth, from crown to root as well as surrounding material such as gum and we need to provide images that are easy to understand by both the dentist as well as the patient.”
Baird also said that “Dr. Yoon was part of a research effort for dental applications of ultrasound conducted at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) starting in 1998 that provided a substantial amount of research that we continue to refer to in our current product development. Working with Dr. Yoon to move an ultrasound product into the hands of the dentist is a continuation of the work he started in 1998. We are proud to be part of his legacy.”
Dr. Yoon is founder, president and CTO of Cyber Medical Imaging, Inc., developers of the XDR digital dental imaging system.
Dr. Yoon received his B.S. in Mathematics from the University of California at Berkley, and received his D.D.S. from the University of California at Los Angeles, School of Dentistry.
