A new patient education package to be viewed in the patient’s home is scheduled for July

CAESY Education Systems, Inc., dentistry's number one choice for patient education, is introducing a new product in July — CAESY at Home. The product is available to dentists who have CAESY Enterprise, the network-based software that distributes patient education throughout the practice.

CAESY at Home takes patient education one step further, allowing the dentist or staff member to burn a CD with up to 10 CAESY multimedia presentations to give to a patient. Patients can then take it to view in the privacy of their own homes, allowing them to share their treatment options with other decision-makers in the family.

“A take-home patient education CD is a powerful marketing tool for any practice,” says Bob Rondeau, DMD, President and CEO of CAESY Education Systems, Inc. “It’s branded with your name, contact information, and your website, so when your patient shares it with her friends, your name is getting in front of potential new patients. Each CAESY at Home CD can be customized for the patient’s individual health concerns. Doctors can use a pre-created message or write their own personal message to their patients. A summary report of the CD project can then be printed out, including the patient name, practice name, patient message and a list of the presentations on the CD. This report can later be placed in a patient’s file to track the presentations they’ve viewed, which is a convenient method for informed consent documentation.
