MIDMARK'S NEW FORCE IN DENTAL DRY VACUUMS JUST GOT BETTER WITH NEW AND IMPROVED POWERVAC® DRY VACUUM SYSTEM
VERSAILLES, Ohio – (July 28, 2008) – Midmark Corporation today announced the availability of its new and improved PowerVac® Dry Vacuum System for the dental office.
The original PowerVac, released mid 2006, was the first dental dry vacuum to combine the most desired features into one flexible, space-saving system, and captured over 22% market share in its first year.
The new features of the PowerVac include a vented front cover and dual-fan rear cover. Together, these covers work to circulate air through the PowerVac base providing constant airflow, which cools the motor and pump operation temperatures by up to 30 degrees Fahrenheit. Also new to the PowerVac is an auto-adjust belt tensioner and redesigned motor mount. These features work together to solidify the entire motor/belt drive mechanism, adding increased stability, durability and tool-free belt changes although changes may not be required.
As before, the PowerVac’s oil-less, water-less design ensures clean, safe, efficient and hassle-free operation. The unique, patent-pending rotary claw pump design provides ultimate durability and consistent, high performance vacuum levels, up to 18" Hg. The PowerVac's vertical design saves space as it is barely bigger than a single wet-ring vacuum. It is quiet, unlike other dry vacuums, which are normally quite loud. This quiet operation allows for a more pleasing workplace and extra flexibility of the PowerVac's placement within the dental office.
The PowerVac is easily upgradable. With several models to choose from, it can accommodate three to fourteen users. It also provides zero-maintenance operation. With no oil or filters to check or change, it saves time and money for the doctor and staff; and enables them to not have to worry about cleaning and servicing their "back room" equipment. The PowerVac's product warranty is unmatched – 10 year/20,000 hour on the rotary claw pump and 5 year/10,000 hour on the entire unit.
