Anterior Torquing Spring

Used to generate more positive torque in the upper incisors
Posted: August 22, 2003
Ortho Organizers is offering a new and very useful Anterior Torquing Spring that is made of .016” stainless steel and is used to generate more positive torque in the upper incisors. Used with Ortho Organizers line of Vertical Mini-Twin®, Tip-Edge®, and CORALEX™ brackets, the Anterior Torquing Spring ends hook distally to each upper central bracket and the center circle spring (coil) is pressed into the archwire between the two upper central brackets. The spring contacts and presses on, the tooth surface gingival to each of the upper central brackets causing the teeth to move in the direction of the force resulting in a lingual root movement. Anterior Torquing Springs are available in packs of 5.
