Lanmark Group Wins Five 2006 MarCom Creative Awards

New Jersey Healthcare Advertising, Marketing, and Communications Agency Nabs Two Platinum, Two Gold, and One Honorable Mention in International Competition


Lanmark Group, a full-service healthcare advertising, marketing, and communications agency, is pleased to announce that it was recognized by the MarCom Creative Awards, an international competition for marketing and communication professionals, with five awards in the 2006 MarCom Creative Awards Competition. 
 
Specifically, Lanmark Group received awards for projects created by the agency’s marketing and public relations department for clients Ansell Healthcare, LED Dental Inc., Sirona Dental Systems, and OraPharma, Inc.
 
Out of the 5,000 entries from throughout the United States and several foreign countries, Lanmark Group was honored with two prestigious Platinum MarCom Awards. 
 
One Platinum MarCom Award was for a comprehensive Integrated Marketing and Communications Plan prepared for Ansell Healthcare.  An additional Platinum MarCom Award was presented for a media kit Lanmark developed for the launch of LED Dental Inc.’s VELscope – an innovative oral mucosal screening device designed to detect oral cancer in its earliest, most curable stages.
 
The MarCom’s prestigious Platinum Award was presented to those entries judged to be the most outstanding entries in the competition.  Only approximately 15% of the entries won this award.  Platinum winners were recognized for their excellence in terms of quality, creativity, and resourcefulness. 
 
Lanmark Group also received two Gold MarCom Awards.  One recognized a feature article written for Sirona Dental Systems entitled, “Is Your Practice Booming?”  The winning article was featured in Dental Practice Report and highlighted Sirona’s CEREC CAD/CAM system for providing baby boomers with dental restorations.  Lanmark Group also received an additional Gold MarCom
 
Award for a press release written and distributed on behalf of OraPharma, Inc.
that explained the company’s research-driven patient education campaign designed to encourage patients to be proactive in diagnosing and treating periodontal disease. 
 
The Gold Award is presented to those entries judged to exceed the high standards of the industry norm.  Approximately 16% of the entries received this award. 
 
Lanmark Group also received an Honorable Mention certificate for a press release it wrote and distributed for LED Medical Diagnostics announcing that the medical device company received FDA 510(k) clearance to market its Visually Enhanced Lesion Scope – or VELscope – oral mucosal examination device, an innovative oral mucosal screening device designed to detect oral cancer in its earliest, most curable stages.
 
Honorable Mention certificates are granted to those entries that meet the expectations of the judges.  Approximately 10% of entries were Honorable Mention winners.
