Thermally active putty technology saves time; delivers consistent results
Dentists who prefer a high-viscosity tray material yet desire the convenience of automix delivery can now get the best of both worlds. 3M ESPE introduces Imprint™ 3 Penta™ Putty Impression Material—a new thermally active putty designed exclusively for use with the Pentamix™ 2 Mixing Unit. Paired together, the two deliver reproducible setting times and reliable mixing for highly accurate impressions. Imprint 3 Penta Putty material provides the comprehensive benefits of a true putty with the option of automatic mixing. In addition, the modern putty technology accelerates the setting of the wash material without reducing the intraoral working time.
Imprint 3 Penta Putty material dispenses from the Pentamix 2 mixing unit at approximately 97°F and is already warm when seated in the mouth, helping to warm up the wash material and accelerate the setting time. Delivery with the Pentamix 2 mixing unit ensures exact dispensing without the mess of hand-mixing and a consistent mix ratio between catalyst and base allows for reproducible setting times. Imprint 3 Penta Putty material also maintains the valuable features of a hand-mix putty, ensuring exceptional flow properties and structural viscosity, high detail reproduction and outstanding precision.
