ALSIP, Ill.—GC America has introduced GC Initial LiSi Block, a fully crystallized lithium disilicate block with optimized physical properties without the need for firing. GC’s high density micronization (HDM) technology for CAD/CAM allows GC Initial LiSi Block to be polished immediately after milling.

The product's unique ultrafine crystal makes the material easy to grind and able to be quickly milled in its fully crystallized state. High gloss and natural opalescence can be obtained in few minutes by simply polishing. Once fully polished, the restoration is ready to lute and will maintain its aesthetics over time.

GC Initial LiSi Block is available in four aesthetic shades and two translucencies. When more characterization is required, the GC Initial ceramic line comprises fully synergistic aesthetic solutions: GC Initial Lustre Pastes NF and GC Initial Spectrum Stains. With these full-spectrum products, the chroma, value and brightness of restorations can be easily adjusted. More depth and detail can be added just by painting.
