LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Bite, an oral health care company that specializes in sustainability in products and packaging, recently introduced its first toothpaste tablet made with nano-hydroxyapatite (nHAp). Nano-hydroxyapatite is a non-toxic fluoride alternative which known to remineralize enamel and decrease sensitivity. The limited-edition Watermelon Hibiscus flavor was so successful that it sold out within weeks, which encouraged the company to add the nontoxic fluoride alternative to its entire line of Toothpaste Bits, as well as mouthwash tablets that will be introduced in August. In addition to the plastic-free toothpaste tablets, Bite also offers plant-based compostable floss and bio bristles bamboo toothbrushes in its sustainable and eco-conscious product line.
