NEW YORK—One common problem encountered during the trial fitting of a restoration is the weakening of bond strength after cementation. This happens as a result of contamination from saliva and blood in the oral cavity. Kuraray Noritake's new Katana Cleaner is designed to virtually eliminate this obstacle.

Katana Cleaner has a high cleaning effect due to its surface-active characteristic MDP Salt, and has a low pH value of 4.5 that enables use extraorally and intraorally. It is an all-purpose, universal cleaning agent indicated for tooth structure, including cavities, abutments, and root canals; and prosthetics, such as ceramics, resin-based materials, metals, and posts.
