ADSTRA SYSTEMS INC. has introduced a module for its Practice Made Perfect® software system that provides Internet-based claim submission through WebMD Envoy. This feature allows users to send claims in a reliable, secure, and efficient manner. The new capability is in addition to their existing dial-up-based EDI. WebMD Envoy is the largest electronic clearinghouse for commercial claims and is the leading provider of dental Electronic Data Interchange (EDI).
The Practice Made Perfect® Internet-Based Claim Submission Module is easy to use and provides increased transmission speed, ending modem-to-modem transfers for sending claims. It incorporates a claim cancellation utility that allows users to cancel a claim the same business day, up until 8:00pm EST. The only requirements for the new module are ADSTRA Practice Made Perfect® software and a live Internet connection (dial-up, cable, or DSL).
Practice Made Perfect® software manages detailed general patient and financial information, dental treatments (using standard procedure codes), dental treatment plans (including orthodontic treatment), and laboratory cases. It includes a comprehensive, drag-and-drop appointment scheduler and automatically generates reminders for incomplete treatment plans, missed or canceled treatments, or preventive care appointments. Practice Made Perfect® has multilingual capabilities, permitting the user to switch the language of the interface "on the fly" between English and Spanish. It also allows the office to set the patient's preferred communication language and generates reports or emails for patients in the appropriate language. The Practice Made Perfect® system also provides users with the capability to use ExpressBill services for sending statements to patients. The statements are sent in the patient's preferred language: English or Spanish.
