Atlanta, Georgia—National Electronic Attachment, Inc. (NEA) announced today that they have signed an Agreement with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts (BCBSMA). The agreement will allow BCBSMA to accept dental healthcare attachments for electronically submitted dental claims. Dentists will transmit the attachments to NEA’s web site using NEA’s FastAttach™ system. BCBSMA will then be able to view the attachments as part of the claim adjudication process. FastAttach™ enables healthcare offices to transmit healthcare attachments (x-rays, perio charts, intra-oral pictures, narratives, EOBs, etc), via the Internet. For healthcare offices, FastAttach™ accelerates claim processing and eliminates the cost and time involved in duplicating and mailing x-rays and other attachments.
