The Importance Of Being In The Room...
Yesterday, I flew out for a one-day Mastermind to be ‘in the room’ with some of the top businesspeople in various professional fields. I (like many of you) am a dentist, and a lot must happen for me to be out of the office (especially at the drop of a hat).
Patients must be moved (some who have made appointments months in advance), overhead still needs to be met and team members still need to be paid. But I couldn’t miss this opportunity because I know ‘the importance of being in the room.’
You see, my journey with coaches, consultants and masterminds started before I opened the doors to my first dental practice, and those investments allowed me to practice in the black from day one. They also allowed me to practice in the top 1 percent of practices in my state and adjacent states. Initially, the investments seemed insurmountable, but they always paid off multifold.
Being in the room with other thriving dentists and or businesspeople at that time allowed me to reach for higher goals and know that if others were doing great things, I and my office could too.
Coaching was integral in establishing an atmosphere of calm and order, helped me to have a better quality of life, and aided me in overcoming my natural workaholic tendencies. I quickly adopted philosophies of incorporating balance, more vacations and efficiency (more productivity in less time).
You can figure all this stuff out on your own (running a practice, work/life responsibilities). But why should you? Coaching can help you fast track to your goals.
I look forward to speaking with you soon.
