Dentaltown.com offers valuable office forms for you to download and use in your practice. Click the Downloads link on the right-side of the screen and then click Dental Forms for your free and easy-to-download forms!

Refer a Colleague - September 2011

We have online members from all over the world, but some people still haven’t joined our growing communities.  If you know of someone who should become an official Townie, you can use the “refer a colleague” link located in the toolbar on the right-hand side of the screen, to let them know.

Mobile Private Messaging - August 2011

Our Mobile site keeps getting better!  Now you can access mobile-friendly private messaging straight from your smartphone.  To check your messages, click the Private Messages link on the mobile homepage.  To send a private message, click the members display name within a case or thread, then select Contact.

Live Chat - August 2011

We want to make sure our Townies always have the answers they need.  You can use the live chat feature located at the top of the help center to ask questions and get answers in real time.  Click on the icon when live chat is available to speak directly with our Online Community Manager.  When she’s not available, click the icon to send her a message with your question or feedback.

Dentaltown Marketshare - June 2011

If you're looking for insights and deals on the latest products and services, look no further than our virtual tradeshow on the Marketshare page. You can view product demos and tutorials, find troubleshooting guides, promotional offers and more.  After clicking the Marketshare link on the right-side of the homepage, you can click individual company logos to go to their Dentaltown Marketshare page.  Be sure to look for the Live Feed from the Message Boards link to find message board topics relating to their products.

Member Search - May 2011

Looking for someone?  You can locate fellow members by their display name, alma mater, city, occupation and more.  Just use the Member Search button located in the top menu bar.  Would you like to make yourself more identifiable?  Update your Public Profile so Townies can get ahold of you too!

Tag Reader - April 2011

Throughout our magazines you can scan tag codes to access information directly from your smartphone.  These codes are black and white squares with geometric patterns and can be found throughout the publication. To scan these codes, we recommend downloading the Microsoft Tag Reader at http://gettag.mobi/. Once it’s downloaded to you phone, you can use it to scan every code you see in the magazine to access additional information, enter contests, link to message boards, comment on articles and more!

Share Your Thoughts on Our Articles - March 2011

Our magazine offers valuable articles for every facet of dentistry and we want to hear what your think of them.  Once you are logged into to the Web site, click the HTML version of the magazine located on the homepage.  From here you can view articles in their entirety with the single click of the mouse. You can also add comments by clicking the Add Comment link located on the right side of both the top and bottom of the article. Add your thoughts and opinions about the article and click post. Your comments and comments from other members can be viewed from the View Comments link under the article title in the HTML version and also in the magazine forum of the message boards.

Emoticons - February 2011

New emoticons have been installed to better suit your mood!  When you start a new thread or reply to a post, you’ll notice the editor has changed.  You can still upload images and create links, but the buttons look a little different.  The biggest change you’ll notice is how to select an emoticon.  Click the smiley in the text editor of your post.  If you have already selected an emoticon within the post, you will need to select the black arrow next to the smiley in order to select another emoticon.  If you have more questions, contact Kerrie at kerrie@farranmedia.com.
