Tooth Decay; clinically known as dental caries is the most widespread chronic disease in the world, surpassing even the common cold. Nearly everyone will experience it at some point in life, but unlike a cold, cavities don’t resolve on their own. Left untreated, they silently progress, gradually destroying tooth structure and leading to paininfection and even tooth loss.
