Jiffy Natural Universal Composite Finishing and Polishing System
Ultradent Products has added Universal Composite finishing and polishing systems to its Jiffy Finishing line. The new systems help dentists re-create an aesthetic, natural finish on all composite surfaces that looks like enamel and is designed to last.

The kits are complete procedural systems that consist of malleable spiral-shaped wheels that conform to all tooth surfaces and are designed in the use of contouring, finishing and polishing all composites (including Mosaic universal composite).

Each kit also includes everything clinicians need to finish and polish composite restorations, including a choice of diamond or carbide burs.

The polishing cups feature a flared, flexible thin-wall design for polishing near the gingiva.

Tokuyama Universal Bond
Tokuyama Universal Bond is a two-component universal adhesive that does not require surface agitation, light-curing or wait time after placement. A quick, easy application cuts chair time, especially in multitooth preparations.

Universal Bond can be used in all etching techniques: self-etch, total-etch and selective-etch mode for direct and indirect restorations. The adhesive is fully compatible with light-cured, self-cured and dual-cured composite materials. Universal Bond does not require additional activators or primers, saving inventory costs and hassle.

Tokuyama Universal Bond offers high bond strength to polymerizable resin material (adhesive resin cement, acrylic resin and composite resin) and indirect restorative materials such as glass-ceramics (porcelain), oxide-ceramics (zirconia and alumina), metals (precious and nonprecious) and resin materials including inorganic filler.

PlanMill 30 S
PlanmecaUSA’s PlanMill 30 S is designed for optimal precision by combining high-performance servo motor technology and durable milling components. Capable of reaching maximum speeds of 100,000 rpm, a four-axis high-speed spindle is ideal for single-visit restorations and everyday milling of inlays, onlays, crowns or bridges. Direct-drive linear force motors used in the manufacturing of aerospace components are unique to Planmeca milling units, resulting in a platform capable of milling a broad range of materials.

A user interface that bridges system maintenance, alerts, reports and tool (SMART) software streamlines the user experience with status updates to notify users when the mill needs attention. System automation creates a more efficient milling process by detecting worn or broken burs and automatically replacing them. The Planmeca PlanMill 30?S is designed on an open platform for seamless integration with most dental equipment.
