to make a small incision to relax the tissue. Start with a small palatal incision. I have not had one not seat fully. But I agree that it is a pain in the ass to do it that way. . The whole point is that the area will be super easy to keep clean. None of those deep pockets, inflamed gums, picks and irrigators. His previous crowns were deep subgingival, didn't fit so wonderfully and all had decay. This guy....will very easily be able to clean his teeth in a couple of minutes
