wasn't working for the first two pics, but the patient in the last photo is straining to show as much of the gums. Her natural smile drapes her lip over the cervical parts of the bridge so that it is a reasonable look. The patient is happy, we just at this point want it stable.

use a plastic abutment for provisionals which I modify with flow resin( I use 3I but I believe there is one for strauumann as well) if it's done during the second surgery I give it full contour one stage. if it's done later you can add a little flow gradually (week after week) so you don't over-press the gums.

You'll probably fiind more information if you Google the material and read the instructions from the manufacturer. (It's spelled Gluma) http://heraeus-kulzer-us.com/en/ourbrands1/dentistry/gluma/gluma_2.aspx I've used both . prefer their regular gluma. if using gel, you need to rinse before bonding. if just liquid and gluma didn't touch gum, you don't really have to rinse. they say it helps bonding. not sure how true that is.

molar. I actually couldn't see the cavity at all from the buccal side. The gum tissue is not overgrown. nil gingival recession. Is it external resorption? Have you ever seen a similar case before? It sure looks likes resorption. I'm sure it's a typo but this doesn't look like the dentition of a 6 year old. At this point I would be thinking extraction and replacement options.AERR that's what that is.

in youngsters. Not a great idea in Middle Aged folks that except miracles What are the potential problems of composite veneers made in this way in middle aged group? I have done a few. I did my mom's front 6. They are very time consuming to remove excess from neighboring teeth, even with teflon tape. Also, it is very difficult to achieve a smooth transition at the gum line, so food retention is a real issue.

this oven - its a no brainer if u want to do full arches. HT-2/M/ZIRKON-120 If you want to do the PINK GUMS use MIYO and you should have an oven with a Vacuum such as the Ivoclar CS6 or other I have the HT-2 S oven - very similar. I don't have a vacuum oven yet. There is a work around of sorts - PM me if you want to discuss.
