continues. I have always seen flat teeth as bruxxism. But Im a very basic dentist. acid reflux is part or all of some of these cases. enamel has a matte appearance, thin edges of enamel (that really should have chipped if bruxism), sometimes feel a ledge at the gum line. and hold it against the teeth, then make marks at the location of all of the incisal edges with a pen/marker/whatever. This works well. Punch the central incisors 1 inch from the edge of the dam. And you can also sometimes place a 2A clamp right over the dam onto a 2nd bicuspid, without any punch. It will be more comfortable for the patient with a layer of rubber dam covering the tooth and gum, but doesn't hold as well as with a punch.

is the best and you can do this in your office to save $$$ and time. Soft reline material can't be polished, especially not with pumice, polishing will cause the soft material to de-bond from the denture. We usually use a large acrylic bur to gently trim off the excess, we also instruct the patient to wear it for at least 6 hours for the material to adapt to the gums.
