I am hoping we dont need to remove gum tissue but the implant appears deep. But the crown wont seat and the scan body is fully seated.Its a Nobel replace 3.5 mm np implant. Any ideas as to why its not seating? Radiograph? I believe the implant is Nobel conical and you are trying to seat a trilobe

. Needless to say I couldnt fully seat the crown because the patient was in too much pain. The tissue blanched white on both sides all the way down. The screw in crown sure doesnt look over contoured on the model. Anyone have this issue? I sent the patient back to the surgeon for an oversized healing abutment to hopefully stretch the gum to give more room. If not I guess it goes back to the lab to under contour the crown. Radiograph would help!

to compare? 2024 2022 I cant feel anything under the gums with a perio probe or explorer or see anything visually, we only see it on the xrays. chicken bone That area likely needs osseous surgery, so when it is flapped either you or perio can figure out what that weird thing is.
