Systematic Assessment of SLA® vs. SLActive® Implant Surfaces: Key Insights for Dental Professionals

This systematic review compared the stability of SLA® and SLActive® implant surfaces over a 12-week period. While both surfaces showed comparable stability for maxillary and mandibular implants, SLActive implants exhibited faster transition to stability and higher ISQ values for palatal implants. Further research is needed to validate these findings and explore the potential benefits of SLActive implants, especially in palatal locations.
