Expert Cerec training is now available right here on Dentaltown.  Dentaltown Cerec Moderator and Advanced Trainer for Cerec, Dr. Mark McClure’s CE course covers the use of CEREC tools and the Biogeneric Copy method of crown fabrication to give the CEREC user a quick and easy way to have success with CEREC. Tutorials on imaging, the image catalogs, drawing margins, and utilization of the display options and tools are covered.  The first half of the course shows the most useful tools for modifying CEREC restorations such as how to draw and manipulate lines using the CEREC software and includes margins and CUT lines.  The second half instructs in the very powerful Biogeneric Copy method for creating CEREC restorations.  From the copying of a previous restoration in a patient’s mouth so that the new restoration “fits” the patient’s occlusal scheme exactly, to copying a restoration or tooth that is an abutment for a removable partial denture, to copying exactly a set of provisional restorations and turning them in to permanent restorations for esthetic or functional rehabilitation, Biogeneric Copy is the method of choice.

Dr. McClure is a 1983 graduate of Lindbergh High School in St. Louis, MO, a 1987 graduate of The University of Tulsa and received his dental degree in 1991 from The University of Missouri-Kansas City. After working in Kansas City for 5 years, he began his practice at his current location. He loves providing care to all ages of patients and making care comfortable for those who “hate the dentist”.
He has been providing one visit crowns for over thirteen years using the CEREC method.  He is a certified basic and advanced trainer for Patterson Dental and has taught hundreds of dentists this amazing technology. He is also a Galileos owner and has integrated the CEREC and Galileos technologies to provide computer guided implants. Dr. McClure has also converted his crown and bridge impression making to almost all digital impressions, utilizing the CEREC Connect method. He is well versed on digital technologies from other manufacturers as well, and can help you understand the benefits of digital dentistry in today’s dental practice.  Dr. McClure is also a Moderator and frequent contributor to the Dentaltown Cerec forum.
