how many times would you torque a Locator abutment if it were to come loose? If you have to do it more than once, it is probably because it is sticking up way too high, or there are not enough of them to hold the denture.. They are designed to be just above gum level. The retaining elements can wear out quickly as well in these circumstances, necessitating replacement of the locater abutment.

The patient doesnt have amalgam at the gum line and no evidence of amalgam tattoo on the gingiva, what could it be? Does that bone distal of the second molars look normal? I think that's a chunk of amalgam ...probably some flash from the filling that bone distal to the 2nd molar looks like bone that was placed in there after the wisdom tooth was removed...I could be wrong...
