and 9 PFM crowns (also endo treated) done a long time ago elsewhere and was never happy with them due to the line of metal showing at the gum line. I redid her crowns in December 2015 and replaced the PFMs with emax, with the margins slightly subgingival on the facial. Pt was happy with the results

? Lots of things to consider. If the patient is adamant about not extracting the tooth then don't feel as though you have to move forward if you think doing an implant or something else is the right thing to do.
