people just have hypersensitive teeth, high pulp horns, etc. If it's only sweets I would just tell her to keep sweet things off of that tooth. On someone as young as her, I would be very hesitant to do anything invasive unless the sensitivity is really debilitating. Facial composite filling I tell patients that even a healthy tooth can be sensitive to sweets and cold. She is probably bleaching her teeth like crazy.

Those B chemicals are just different antimicrobials, used to keep eyedrops sterile, sterilize restaurant surfaces, etc. The upside is that they don't burn gum tissues, like Glutaraldehyde can. it to caries lesions. I use it quite a bit. Usually works well, but may take up to 3 applications. Won't stain healthy dentin, will stain plaque and gingiva but will wear off. I place it for about 30 seconds and then hit it with curing light for 20-30 seconds. The light makes the silver precipitate out. I have used it a ton. Works like a dream with crown preps.

a little undercut on all my composites. I don't want to have that filling move with flossing or sticky foods. In the interproximal boxes I use my same prep bur and place a slight groove on the side walls. On the occlusal portion also I will place some slight...Glass ionomer liner solved this for me. Dentin bonding works, but not all the time. Glass ionomer always works on a healthy tooth.
