and exercising are on about the same level for a lot of people. Get what you are saying, though. Not sure how many people avoid the dentist vs avoid eating healthy and exercising, but another topic. And yes, I have 2 people who come in and do IV sedation for our anxious patients. Great service

currently have without sedation options. Its not healthy for EITHER of us. Offer nitrous or OCS and do not do any work thatday. This level of fear is keeping you from doing your best work. But your foot down on this. Its your own health thats at stake and fixing a tooth isn't worth it. Comparing

to other fields, it's embarrassing bad return on income. I have few friends with a net worth of 1 mil+ in late 20s by graduating at 22 with minimal debt in the computer science field that have worked for Google/amazon/tech companies and have most of their net worth in stock with a healthy salary

, again, you are going to be let down. It comes with age, but not giving 2 squats about outside perception is liberating and healthy. I think most dentists or dental school applicants are socially anxious.. approval hungry..social status seeking..driven... type A personas.. So one has to change

feel my neck is sore by lunch and sometimes get a real pain or pinching feeling in my back or neck. The physical toll on the body is not healthy. There are tolls in other careers too but at least you can move around. In dentistry you are stuck in awkward positions for extended periods of time
