on neck strain and some companies like orascoptic as last I checked can not accommodate a healthy angle. I have Q-Optic through the lense now and they can go dang near as far as your eyes can look down.Well, mine are Orascoptic, the max magnification that they offer. I have ben with them for a while

colour detail better for me. But with the higher power it is easier to see fine structure detail but the colour contrast is weaker for me. For example with a 3x loupe it is easier for me to see yellow supragingival calculus, but for dark calculus under the gum, higher power is better for me
