I have a family member who is on dialysis 3-4 times a week. Those patients are barely healthy enough to get a few fillings at a time, let alone a full arch surgery. This guy either had a massive ego or was massively stupid, or both. lol what an experience. This could serve as a case study

how many times would you torque a Locator abutment if it were to come loose? If you have to do it more than once, it is probably because it is sticking up way too high, or there are not enough of them to hold the denture.. They are designed to be just above gum level. The retaining elements can wear out quickly as well in these circumstances, necessitating replacement of the locater abutment.

regurgitating what I've heard. Visually, I like the smooth transition as well. It's just more aesthetically pleasing to my eye. From a more technical perspective, the platform switch design which places the implant/abutment junction further away from the bone is supposed to healthier for the bone
