Who would have guessed in a million years that heathy eating reduces risk of caries? My mind is blown! Next they should do a study to find out if full mouth extractions increase risk of edentulism. I think the biggest comparison is seeing a study that shows healthy eating habits helps lower risk for obesity and diabetes. Our tax dollars help fund this mind-blowing new information. credit for the numerous Mtn Dew mouths I see everyday? Nope. Then why should it take credit for the pristine mouths I also see? It shouldn't. If the ADA's main point of success is taking credit for healthy mouth, the organization is pointless. The ADA is a membership of dentists that should be representing the success of those dentists.
